WORD FROM THE CHAIRPERSON
On behalf of MYCEG, let me express my sincere gratitude to all those who have always committed their support, financial and moral towards the success of our programs. Special thanks go to partner organizations and Uganda Harm Reduction Network.
This year has been a year of tremendous activities and projects in MYCEG.
Most of the projects targeted drug users, youths in HIV/AIDS and behavioral addiction problems. However, there is need to increase effort to reach out to hidden key population like people who inject drugs through training, sensitization and advocacy so that there develops a realistic sense of belonging and the increase on the service intake. The female sex workers who are drug users have expressed their desire to be reached. The request that have been received in MYCEG offices are many. Any effort to respond to these requests shall be of paramount importance.
